The membership of the Nagarjuna Institute, both public and private, affiliated institutions concerned with education, cultural exchange and international. A common theme for members is an interest in the fostering of improved exchange of scholarly Buddhist information of mutual interest. How to become a member
Fill out the membership Form online and the membership fee can be paid by wire transfer, bank draft or make a direct online transfer to the Institute’s PayPal Account. Click on Membership Form

Membership Category and Fees
Generally Nagarjuna Institute has prescribed four types of Memberships namely Patron, Life Member, Institutional Member and Individual Member. Organizations or individuals may choose the category as they see fit and desirable.

Patron Member

Life Member
Membership is open to scholars, professionals, and researchers who have an academic degree and who are working in any scientific academy, research council, higher Education institution. Life Membership fee is US$ 500. Click here to view the list of Life Members of Nagarjuna Institute.

Institutional Member
Any scientific academy, research council, higher education institution or association of such institutions which express an interest in facilitating information exchange and expanding electronically readable information resources may become a Member. Library is the integral part of Nagarjuna Institute to serve the academician and local Buddhist students of this Institute. It also provides the facilities for Buddhist researchers by lending books, documents, catalogues, reference materials and other information about Buddhism in Nepal.

CATALOGUE OF BUDDHIST TEXTS

Nagarjuna Institute has its own library containing the Buddhist Books in different language like, English, Nepali, Newari, Sanskrit, Pali, Tibetan, Chinese, French and so on. In this website, you can virtually browse the list of almost all the books available in the NIEM Library. The classifications of the titles are based on the language in which they are written.
